The next in the You Know Who Should Be In Smash Brothers
series is:

New Challenger Approaching!
GIANA PUTS A TWIST ON THINGS!

SPECIAL MOVES----------------------------------------

Neutral Special – DREAM BUBBLE -
Pressing "B", will cause Giana to perform the special move: Dream Bubble. Giana thrusts her palm forward shifting to her other form and produces a Dream Bubble- these balls of energy resemble a fireball and travel horizontally a good distance before arching downward. The Dream Bubbles will deal DMG to foes they hit and cause them to flinch but deal no real knock back. Tapping "B" repeatedly will cause Giana to fire Dream Bubbles in a sort of rapid fire attack as she alternates thrusting her palms forward and fires the Dream Bubbles, Giana will shift from the form she is into the other.
DMG: 4% (Per Dream Bubble)

Side Special – POWERDASH -
Pressing "B" while also holding "left" or "right" on the directional pad, will cause Giana to perform the special move: Powerdash. If Giana is in Cute Form, she will shift to Punk Form, curl up into a cannonball and blast forward as a ball of fire! Using the Control Stick Players can alter Giana's movement slightly allowing them to target foes above or below her. Giana will deal DMG and knock back to foes she collides with and will also bounce upward after striking a foe.
DMG: 12%

Down Special – OWL -
Pressing "B" while also holding "down" on the directional pad, will cause Giana to perform the special move: Owl. Giana will pull out a stuffed owl plush and set it down, after a moment it flashes and comes to life! This owl will now act as a hazard and patrol the platform it was placed on. When the owl touches a foe, it will deal them DMG and knock back. The owl can be dealt DMG and ultimately destroyed or Players can simply hop on its head immediately defeating it. Giana can deploy up to three of these rotund guys on a stage at a time. attempting to produce a fourth while three are still active will cause Giana to perform an animation that leaves her open to attacks.
DMG: 7% (Per hit by Owl)

Up Special – SUPERTWIRL -
Pressing "B" while also holding "up" on the directional pad, will cause Giana to perform the special move: Supertwirl. If Giana is in Punk Form, she will shift to Cute Form and extend her arms before spinning creating a small tornado around her that lifts her up into the air dealing racking DMG to foes who touch her. If "B" is held, Giana will continue to spin but without the initial tornado, meaning she will no longer deal DMG to foes who touch her and will be open to attacks, however this will slow her descent considerably. If "B" is not held down, after the initial boost into the air Giana will enter a helpless state until she touches a platform.
DMG: 1%-18% (Initial racking DMG)

Final Smash – DREAM QUARTET -
After Obtaining the Smash Ball and pressing "B", Cracks of light appear all over Giana's body as she hovers off the ground, suddenly her body shatters creating a blast of light causing four orbs of light to scatter from her as well. After the blast a shimmering rainbow-colored gem hovers where Giana once stood. If nearby foes are hit by the blast they will gather around the gem and reach out for it. But as they do, Four Giana's jump to the stage and surround the foes- two in Punk Form, one Purple, one Red, and two in Cute Form, one Green, one Yellow. Then the four Gianas attack all at once, assaulting foes with physical blows that rack up DMG. the four Gianas in unison back off suddenly then unleash a charged up Dream Bubble- one from each Giana at the foes creating an explosion that deals more DMG and huge knock back to the foes. The four Gianas quickly dash at the rainbow-colored gem and each hold it above their heads. The gem shines brightly and the four Gianas do too before they all combine back into Giana and she re-eneters fighter stance. If no one is hit by the initial blast, the four Gianas will hop back to the stage and reform Giana without dealing DMG.
DMG: 6% (Initial blast)  1%-32% (Racking DMG from the four Gianas) 20% (Dream Bubble attack) 58% (Total DMG)

Kirby Hat -
When Kirby swallows Giana, Kirby will gain hair that looks like Giana's while also gaining the Dream Bubble Ability which causes Kirby's hair to change between cute and punk versions just like when Giana uses Dream Bubble.

SNAKE'S CODEC FOR GIANA--------------------------------
CODEC CHANNEL: 140.85

COLONEL: Snake, you know who that is?

SNAKE: You're kidding, right? It's- that... girl?

COLONEL: ..."The great" Giana made her first appearance in 1987, and since then, she's- sort of faded into obscurity. There's a high probability that only her cult fan base remembers her.

SNAKE: Good thing I survived long enough to hear about her huh?

COLONEL: This is a once-in-a-lifetime chance, Snake. Now get out there and meet her who knows when she will next show up again.

SNAKE: uh, sure.

PALUTENA'S GUIDANCE FOR GIANA--------------------------------

PIT: Alright! Who let in the little girl?

VIRIDI: Hah! You're one to talk, aren't YOU a little girl?

PIT: That was one time! And besides I'm back to my old self: Pit, servant of the goddess of light!

PALUTENA: And that's "The Great Giana".

VIRIDI: "The Great Giana"? She looks just like another human to me!

PIT: What's so great about her Lady Palutena?

PALUTENA: While it's true that Giana is human, her greatness comes from her abilities within the Dream World.

PIT: The... Dream World?

PALUTENA: In the Dream World, Giana can create energy, change her appearance at will, and even transform the very nature of the Dream World itself!

PIT: But- she's doing those things now! And we're not even dreaming! Wait... ARE WE DREAMING!?

PALUTENA: Well... This competition does have multiple realities folded in on each other... Often times it does feel like a dream. Perhaps, this is all one big dream.

VIRIDI: There's only one way to find out!

PIT: Really? How!?

VIRIDI: Pit, you need to stand perfectly still! Then... Let us know if it hurts when you get hit.

PIT: Ugh, you are SO not helpful.

STAGE------------------------------------

TWISTED DREAM

Players discover a path through a fabulous landscape of rolling hills and lush green meadows as they do battle on the Twisted Dream stage. The stage layout itself is based on the very first level of The Great Giana Sisters way back in 1987 but with an obvious facelift. Like the Mushroomy Kingdom stage, the Twisted Dream stage is a scrolling one. The first stretch of stage features two rows of floating bricks that can be destroyed along with a few golden boxes with a pulsating star-like symbol on them that contain items, much like the Mushroomy Kingdom's question mark blocks. these two rows have had a vine snake up and attach itself to them producing large white flowers, Players can pass "under" this vine as it is purely aesthetic. After that section is an area that houses two smaller rows of blocks, the bottom row is all breakable while the top row are all item-giving blocks. These two rows are positioned up high so Players will really have to try to reach them. Below the rows of blocks is an area flanked by what appear to be large stone pillars, the pillar to the left is overgrown with vines but doesn't seem worse for the wear. In the BG of this area a large tree stands, in its boughs bloom large white flowers, just like the ones we saw before. After the section with the pillars the stage presents it's first pit that Players should be able to clear without any real problems. Continuing on Players will come across a lovely arched stone bridge that separates Players from another, albeit larger pit. suspended above the bridge is another row of blocks with the middle block being an item giving block. The next section of the stage is home to three rows of blocks with one row hovering higher than the other two- among these blocks there are several item-giving blocks, and like at the start of the stage a healthy looking flower vine has stretched upward and latched onto the top row of blocks. Moving forward to our final section of the stage is what appears to have been a large staircase, it's bottom section has long since crumbled away and many vines and flowers have already begun to reclaim the ruins, but Players will still be able to use the stairs as they climb over their last hurdle they are met with a flat area however the ground here is unstable and Players may cause sections to fall away revealing three pits! The area ends with a fairytale-like tower that stands proudly beside another large, flower producing tree.Passing this area the stage loops back to the beginning.

However... The world suddenly changes, twisting in on itself becoming a spooky landscape of fog claimed hills and decaying flora! The stage has transformed from dream to nightmare!

Following the same path they did before Players will find the stage has changed and not only visually. The first stretch of stage features the same two rows of floating bricks However the flower vine that had attach itself to them producing large white flowers, have now become sharp, twisted vines that no longer produce flowers but instead wicked looking thorns that will deal DMG to Players who touch them and prevent Players from passing through them, forcing Players to find an alternate route. The section afterward that houses the two smaller rows of blocks positioned up high flanked by the large stone pillars is mostly the same except that the left pillar once covered in vines is now covered in the same thorny vines we saw in the first area, and the large flower producing tree is now a barren, gnarled tree. Continuing on the stage remains the same but retaining the sinister nightmare look. When Players come to the section with the bridge, they will discover it had been destroyed, the entire middle section of the bridge has fallen away into the large dark pit below allowing Players to easily fall in if they're not careful.  Like at the start of the level, this next section with the three rows of blocks remain the same save for the vine of flowers which are now thorn vines and will block Players from passing through them forcing them to go up and over the top row of blocks to continue. The vines that choke the crumbled staircase no longer sprout flowers, but they don't sprout thorns either, the section before the tower no longer has crumbling floors and instead simply present the open pits. The tower has also been twisted, what was once a magical looking structure now appears to some sort of prison tower it's steeples producing thorns of it's own. Passing by the tower however causes the stage to twist once again returning to its dream form.

At this point further play on the stage will result in the stage twisting itself randomly- so Players don't have to pass the tower to cause the twist to happen keeping Players on their toes.
