TAZIO HORI GETS PUMPED!

SPECIAL MOVES----------------------------------------

Neutral Special – DRILL INFLATOR -
Pressing "B", will cause Tiazo to perform the special move: Drill Inflator. Taizo fires the Inflator attachment from his Drill, it flies forward revealing a hose attached to the end of it. The Longer "B" is held the further the Drill Inflator will extend, when "B" is released, or when the Drill Inflator has reached its maximum distance it will fall to the ground and Taizo will recall the attachment causing it to retract back into the Drill. If a foe touches the Drill Inflator while it flies through the air, they will receive DMG and the attachment will embed itself into the foe stunning them in place. Pressing "B" while the attachment is connected to a foe will cause Taizo to pump air through the hose and into foes causing them to expand slightly as if being blown up like a balloon, receiving additional DMG. Tazio can pump foes a maximum of four times before the air pressure becomes to great and delivers the Foe knock back, detaching them from the Drill Inflator. Foes can button mash to free themselves from the Drill Inflator, though this becomes more difficult at higher DMG Percentages.
DMG: 5% (Initial hit) 4% (Per Pump)  21% (Max DMG)

Side Special – FYGAR FLAMES -
Pressing "B" while also holding "left" or "right" on the directional pad, will cause Taizo to perform the special move: Fygar Flames. Taizo steps forward and is surprised as the head of a Fygar burst from the ground right under Tiazo's foot! The Fygar expels a breath of fire forward dealing racking DMG to anyone caught in the flames while also pushing foes back. After Fygar unleashes it's fiery blast, Taizo stomps on the Fygar's head, pushing it back into the ground whence it came. If used in the air, a Fygar manifests from a ghostly shape in front of Taizo and expels a breath of fire forward dealing racking DMG to anyone caught in the flames while also pushing foes back. Taizo will then hit the Fygar on its head sending it flying downward and back into the ground or into a pit. The Fygar can deal DMG to players as it travels downward dealing only slight DMG, but DMG nonetheless.
DMG: 2% (Per second in flames) 10% (Max DMG)

Up Special – POOKA POP -
Pressing "B" while also holding "up" on the directional pad, will cause Taizo to perform the special move: Pooka Pop. A ghostly form of a Pooka appears over Taizo's head, using his Drill Inflator, Taizo attaches himself to the Pooka who has now become solid, Taizo then pumps air into the creature granting creating a sort of balloon recovery lifting him slightly into the air. Taizo can press "B" to pump up to four more times before the Pooka pops. After attaching to the Pooka and pumping air into it once, the Pooka becomes super bouncy- if a Foe comes into contact with the Pooka, they will receive DMG and be knocked back as if they touched a Bumper. The fourth pump from the Drill Inflator will cause the Pooka to pop, dealing DMG and knock back to foes that were too close to the Pooka at that time. With each pump from the Drill Inflator, the Pooka will grow in size while also granting Taizo a bit more recovery. The Pooka will slowly deflate and as it does Taizo will drift downward. If Taizo lands on a platform he will recall the Drill Inflator and the Pooka will vanish, phasing away. If the Pooka pops, Taizo will recall the Drill Inflator as he enters a helpless state until he touches a platform. Should a Foe come between Taizo and the Pooka he aims to inflate, the Drill Inflator will latch onto the Foe and Taizo will recall the attachment allowing Taizo to use the momentum of dragging in a foe to propel himself upward, this will not result in Taizo entering a helpless state.
DMG: 5% (Initial hit / hitting a Foe) 4% (1st pump Pooka) 8% (2nd pump Pooka) 12% (3rd pump Pooka) 16% (Pooka Pop)  

Down Special – JACKHAMMER -
Pressing "B" while also holding "down" on the directional pad, will cause Taizo to perform the special move: Jackhammer. Taizo slams the Jackhammer of his Drill into the ground and creates a fissure that extends forward along the ground. Anyone standing in the fissures path will become grounded. Suddenly three explosions will erupt from the fissure one after another moving away from Taizo, anyone hit by the explosions will receive DMG and high vertical knock back. If used in the air, Taizo will dive downward until he hits a platform where he will carry out the move as described above.
DMG: 8% (Grounding Foes) 9% (Per explosion)  

Final Smash – ROCK SLIDE -
After Obtaining the Smash Ball and pressing "B", Taizo slams his Drill into the ground causing explosions to rush up around him causing the whole stage to shake uncontrollably- causing anyone standing on the stage during the tremors to become grounded and also cause a great rock slide to begin. Large boulders will come smashing downward onto the stage- these boulders will deal DMG and knock back to anyone they strike. Should a Foe who is grounded be hit by these they will be freed from their grounded state however anyone who touches the stage will still become grounded, so it's possible to be freed only to become grounded in a new location. When the FS time is over, Tiazo's Drill causes one final explosion beneath him sending anyone still grounded flying into the air.
DMG: 12% (Grounded) 12% (Per Boulder) 45% (Final Blast)

Kirby Hat -
When Kirby swallows Taizo, Kirby will gain a Driller's helmet that resembles Taizo's while also gaining the Drill Inflator Ability.

TAUNTS----------------------------------------

Taunt 1 –
Taizo sticks his Drill into the ground and faces the camera, proudly Taizo flexes his arms before grabbing his Drill and re-entering fighter stance.

Taunt 2 –
A Pooka appears behind Taizo. Taizo sees it, and falls back onto it lounging comfortable- suddenly the Pooka Pops under the strain! Taizo falls to the ground. Embarrassed, he picks himself up and re-enters fighter stance.

Taunt 3 –
Taizo's helmet light blinks on as he takes a look around, satisfied with his survey of the area the helmet light blinks off and Taizo re-enters fighter stance.

PALUTENA'S GUIDANCE FOR TAIZO HORI --------------------------------

PIT: It's Dig Dug!

VIRIDI: What kinda name is "Dig Dug"?

PALUTENA: Actually, his name is Tazio Hori. Though, I suppose he has gone by "Dig Dug" in the past. Taizo is what is known as a "Digger" and is considered a legend among them due to his heroics during the "Dig Dug Incident"- oh, I suppose that's where he got the name "Dig Dug".  

VIRIDI: That's a terrible way to get a nick name! It'd be like rescuing someone from a house fire and getting the nickname "House Fire"!

PIT: "House Fire" has an okay ring to it.

VIRIDI: No it doesn't!

PALUTENA: Regardless of names, Taizo carries around a special drill that he can use to inflate enemies.

PIT: Wait, inflate enemies?

PALUTENA: You heard right Pit, if Tiazo's Drill Infiltrator latches onto you he can pump you full of air, just like a balloon!

PIT: Isn't that dangerous!?

PALUTENA: Absolutely! So if it does manage to latch onto you make sure to move around as much as possible to dislodge it.

VIRIDI: Otherwise: POP!

PIT: Gah!

STAGE------------------------------------

UNDERGROUND


Players find themselves underground, spawning into a cramped space with nowhere to go. When the match begins Players will find that as they move around the stage they will actually carve out a path through the dirt as they move! However there are some things Players can't dig through, such as: dinosaur bones, ruin archways and pillars, coffins, and solid stone among other things. These act as guaranteed platforms should Players get too into their digging. Players will find that they cannot dig downward by moving alone, however using certain attacks or items such as bombs can create paths downward. If a player is sent flying they will react as if in a tunnel- ricocheting off of the path walls they have created. Eventually, the stage will scroll to the right allowing players a new underground area to dig through. There are some boulders that can be "dug" under to dislodge, these boulders will then fall straight down carving their own path creating pitfalls at the very bottom of the stage. The world above can barely be made out at the top of the stage, Players should keep an eye on whats going on above ground as well as it could effect where they dig and avoid digging. Sometimes huge stakes will appear above ground that have created fault lines that span to either to the left or right of the stage. If Players "dig" under them the stake will come crashing down splitting the stage in half, in that case anyone trapped on the side of the stage the fault line was on... Well there is no other way to say it: they're doomed. that entire side of the stage will crumble away falling down KOing anyone on that side. this will then cause the stage to pan in the opposite direction.

ENTRANCE -
Taizo drills up from the ground creating a dirt mound. Taizo pokes his head out, does a quick look around then jumps out of the hole and into fighter stance as the dirt mound caves in on itself vanishing.
