SPYRO TOASTS THE COMPETITION!

SPECIAL MOVES----------------------------------------

Neutral Special – DRAGON BREATH -
Pressing "B", will cause Spyro to perform the special move: Dragon Breath. Being a purple dragon, Spyro has the ability to master many elemental breaths rather than just one. Depending on which Breath Spyro has "Equipped" (See Special Abilities Section) this Special Move will be executed differently.

FIRE BREATH: When "B" is pressed, Spyro will blow a stream of flames from his mouth dealing DMG and some knock back to foes.
DMG: 7%

ICE BREATH: Spyro will shoot a ball of ice from his mouth that travels horizontally. If the projectile strikes a foe they will be encased in ice and dealt DMG. if used on the ground, the ice ball will leave a trail of ice in its wake making the ground slippery until the ice melts away a short time later.
DMG: 5%

ELECTRIC BREATH: Holding "B" will cause Spyro to gather electricity in him mouth, forming an orb of crackling electricity. While "B" is held Sypro can move freely allowing him to walk the orb into foes dealing racking DMG. Releasing "B" will cause Spyro to spit the orb, causing it to travel in an arching path. The orb will sit on the stage for a little while and paralyze foes that come in contact with it before it detonates dealing DMG and knock back. If "B" is tapped again while the orb is still on the stage it will detonate into a small electrical explosion dealing vertical knock back. If the orb remains on the stage for an extended amount of time it will detonate itself.  
DMG: 2% (racking DMG per hit by orb) 11% (explosion)

WIND BREATH: Pressing "B" will cause Spyro to blow out a small cyclone causing Spyro to be pushed backwards when he produces it. The cyclone will remain on the stage for a short time and push both Spyro and foes away from it. Wind Breath deals no DMG and only one cyclone can be made at a time.   
DMG: 0%

Side Special – SUPERCHARGE -
Pressing "B" while also holding "left" or "right" on the directional pad, will cause Spyro to perform the special move: Supercharge. Spyro will lower his head and dash forward attempting to ram foes with his horns. As long as "B" is held down, Spyro will continue to dash forward, the longer he dashes the faster Spyro becomes and the more DMG he will deal to foes he collides with. Spyro will begin by kicking up dust as he runs, then small flames, then larger flames, then a burst of flame like wings will follow Spyro indicating this moves strongest form. When Spyro collides with a foe he'll recoil a bit. When "B" is released on the ground, Spyro will screech to a halt leaving him open to attack, the faster he was going the longer he is open to attack. If "B" is released in the air, Spyro will try to stop but have a hard time causing him to become helpless until he touches a platform.
DMG: 11%-24% (Depending on speed)

Down Special – HEADBASH -
Pressing "B" while also holding "down" on the directional pad, will cause Spyro to perform the special move: Headbash. Spyro will flip into the air and spin a couple times (resembling Sonic's up smash) dealing racking DMG to foes using his spines. Spyro will then suddenly come out of this animation upside down and come crashing downward very quickly dealing more DMG to foes below him. If Spyro connects with a platform his head will become buried for a moment before he pulls himself out of it. Players can't cancel out of this move using it over pitfalls can be rather dangerous, however if it connects with a foe it will deliver a meteor smash effect.  
DMG: 9% (Inital racking DMG) 12% (Headbash) 21% (Total)

Up Special – WHIRLWIND -
Pressing "B" while also holding "up" on the directional pad, will cause Spyro to perform the special move: Whirlwind. In a flash of magic, three fairies suddenly appear around Spyro. Flicking their wands the cause a magical whirlwind to appear beneath Spyro causing him to spiral upward, as he does the three fairies quickly spin around him becoming balls of magic dealing DMG to foes they strike. When Spyro reaches the top of the Whirlwind, the fairies vanish in a final burst of magic taking the whirlwind with them. Spyro will then extend his wings and he is able to glide. if Players cancel out of the glide, Spyro will enter a helpless state until he touches a platform.
DMG: 10% (per fairy hit)

Final Smash – SUPERFLAME -
After Obtaining the Smash Ball and pressing "B", Spyro will dash forward as if performing a Super Charge. This attack will travel through multiple foes. If Spyro hits anyone while charging, they will be launched upward and a short scene will play. Spyro is seen in a crouched position looking determined. A giggle is heard and causes Spyro to stand up and look over his shoulder. A lone fairy will appear and circle Spyro before planting a single kiss on his snout. A wave of magical sparkles burst from the kiss and the fairy flies away as Spyro begins to glow,his horns, his scales , the spines on his head, they all light up! Spyro crouches back down gathering energy and then unleashes a huge ball of fire that blasts upward. the ball finds those hit by the FS in the air and connects creating a huge explosion of fire and magic that deals massive DMG sending foes flying as the scene ends. Spyro's altered appearance fades away and he returns to normal as he re-enters fighter stance.
DMG: 15% (Supercharge) 40% (Super Flame) 55% (Total)

Kirby Hat -
When Kirby swallows Spyro, Kirby will gain horns, wings,scales, and spines that resemble Spyro's while also gaining the Dragon Breath Ability. Kirby will not be able to switch breath elements however and will aquire the breath element Spyro had selected when he was swallowed.

TAUNTS----------------------------------------

Taunt 1 –
Spyro will hop in place and land in a low position he wiggles his tail and say "Bring it on!", he then re-enters fighter stance.

Taunt 2 –
Spyro's snout will crinkle up and before long- ah-ah-ah-Foosh- Spyro lets out a sneeze expelling a bit of fire, he shakes off the sneeze and re-enters fighter stance.

Taunt 3 –
If Sparx is still on stage he will fly around Spyro and face the screen and wave. If Sparx isn't on the stage, Spyro will perform a stretch resembling an Extended Puppy Pose. there is a small chance when performing this taunt that if Sparx is still on stage, a butterfly will appear causing Sparxs to chase it before eating it restoring one DMG level to Sparx (See Special Abilities Section)

SNAKE: Is that a dragon!?

MEI LING: You sound surprised Snake, is it really that odd to see a dragon in Super Smash Brothers?

SNAKE: W-well... I guess not...

MEI LING: That's Spyro the Dragon, he's a rare purple dragon. These dragons aren't limited to just one breath element like most other dragons, and are rumored to even be able to master other abilities as well.

SNAKE: Breath element? Do you guys even hear the kinds of things you say to me?

MEI LING: Hey! I'm just trying to give you the facts- it's not my fault they make me sound like a crazy person!

SNAKE: ...Sorry...

MEI LING: *sigh* ... It's okay Snake. Like I was saying, some rumors even say that purple dragons can harness Sheep Breath!

SNAKE: OK! That's it! Snake out.

MEI LING: W-wait! Snake! Snake!? Sssnnnnnaaaaaakkkkkkkeeeeeeeee!

PALUTENA'S GUIDANCE FOR SPYRO--------------------------------


PIT: Is that some sort of Shemum?

VIRIDI: He's a dragon you dork!

PIT: Oh, sorry.

PALUTENA: Pit, that's Spyro. You know, Spyro the Dragon?

VIRIDI: Hero of the Dragon Realms?

PALUTENA: Champion of Avalar?

VIRIDI: Savior of the Forgotten Realms?

PIT: Uh, sure... Spyro!

VIRIDI: ...He doesn't have a clue.

PALUTENA: Let's keep it simple then. Spyro is a dragon, a dragon from the Dragon Realms. Though young, Spyro has had many adventures, and like most dragons, Spyro has the ability to breath fire. Though he has been known to breath other things.

PIT: Other things?

VIRIDI: Well... there's his fire breath of course, then there's also, ice breath, electrical breath, bubble breath, wind breath, annnnd oh yeah! Sheep breath!

PIT: Sheep? Breath?

PALUTENA: Cheat codes are powerful things Pit. Depending on which Breath Spyro is using his Special Move "Dragon Breath" can vary considerably. Fire Breath will scorch you, Ice Breath can freeze you, Electric Breath can paralyze you, and Wind Breath can blow you away.

PIT: Aw geez, that's a lot to keep track of.

VIRIDI: Don't worry Pit, if you get into a bind you can use your dragon breath!

PIT: But I don't have any dragon breath.

VIRIDI: Don't you? You could call it your "Bad Breath Attack"!

PIT: HEY!

STAGE------------------------------------

DRAGON REALMS


Welcome to the Dragon Realms! Set against the backdrop of rolling hills and a castle, Players begin their battle in the Artisans Homeworld. With no pitfalls, Players are able to walk off both the left and right sides of the stage. On the left side of the stage stand several columns Players can use as platforms, while on the right side of the stage there's a pool of water with several smaller platforms Players can jump between. At the center of the stage is a bridge-like structure that stretches out into the foreground and houses a crystal dragon statue. Players can jump up onto the pathway or simply walk under the raised path passing behind it. The crystal dragon statue shakes and rumbles from time to time. Is something inside? After a while in the Artisans Homeworld, pieces of some sort of structure will pull themselves from the ground and assemble into a new platform. From above, two hot air balloons descend and the balloonists, Marco and Gosnold, hop out and tie their balloons to the newly made platform. When all is secure they hop back in and wave at the Players. It looks like they're about to take off! Players not on the platform will be left behind as it raises into the sky and brings Players to a new area -- this time in the Magic Crafters. The platform lowers down into the new area and suddenly shatters apart, and Marco and Gosnold fly away too! This area of the Magic Crafters is called High Caves. Here, Players battle along a cliff side castle made up of tall towers. On the left side of the stage, Players can battle on the roof of a castle. Below that is a pitfall. Taking up most of the center of the stage is the cliff side itself, it's mostly flat but the path does curve upward towards the right side of the stage as the path loops back around to another landing for players to battle on. In the foreground of the stage, a Green Druid stands atop a large gold column that he controls, moving it from left to right over and over and obscuring some sections of the stage as he does. Again, after a while in the High Caves, a platform is created and two new balloonists -- Tuco and Amos -- descend to carry Players off to a new area: Lofty Castle. This area is home to three floating islands. The main island is home to a large fountain that drains out of the island and into the skies below. Any Players who stand in the shallow fountain waters will be pulled towards the opening. Players can do battle along the main island on top of the fountain's central structure, on a floating island set to the left above the main island, or make their way to a larger floating island that sits alone on the right side of the stage. This area's namesake (the "Lofty Castle") can be seen taking up most of the background on the left hand side of the screen. Also appearing on the stage are Gnorc Balloonists. These large foes will float up and down and can block Players' movements. They are located on the left side of the main platform and between the main platform and the large island on the right. Players will have to plan their movements accordingly as the Gnorc Balloonists can really mess up Players trying to travel through the air, whether they're attempting to get to another platform or to return to the stage. Players can, however, attack their balloons and pop them, causing the Gnorc Balloonist to fall and removing them from the stage for a while. However, before long, a new Gnorc Balloonist will take their place. After a while in Lofty Castle, a platform is created and two more balloonists arrive. This time it's Hak and Marco! The platform carries Players back to the Artisans Homeworld. When Players arrive all is the same as when they left except the crystal dragon statue is no more and a Dragon now stands in its place! Huzzah! The Dragon has been rescued! The Dragon that appears here is random but any number of dragons can appear. There is however a limit of one dragon per match so, for example, if it's revealed the imprisoned Dragon was Nestor, Nestor won't change to a different Dragon at any point during that battle, and Players will have to play the stage again for a chance to see another Dragon.

SIDE NOTES------------------------------------------

ENTRANCE -
Several pieces of a stone archway pull themselves up from the platform and assemble into a magic portal. The inside of the archway flashes revealing a sky, Spyro then flies out of the portal performing a loop as he lands on the stage and enters fighter stance. The portal then vanishes.

*DRAGON BREATHS

Spyro has several diffrent Dragon Breaths he can use in battle: Fire, Ice, Electric, & Wind. Spyro will always start a stock with the Fire Dragon Breath selected. To select a different Dragon Breath Players must shield and while a shield is active tap "B" this will cause the elemental icon by Spyro's DMG % to change from fire to ice, from ice to electric, from electric to wind, or from wind to fire. Knowing when to use each Dragon Breath is key to mastering how to play as Spyro.

*SPARX THE DRAGONFLY
Accompanying Spyro into battle is his best friend Spark the dragonfly! Sparks will fly close to Spyro and follow him around the battlefield. Players may notice that at the start of the battle Sparx appears a glittering yellow color but as the match goes on and Spyro takes DMG Sparx will change color. Sparx's job is to protect Spyro from danger and so every once in a while Sparx will take a hit for Spyro, this is random but when he does he will change color. Sparx can take a total of four hits causing him to go from a glittering yellow, to not glittering yellow, to blue, then green, after that though, Sparxs will vanish! and there will be no one left to take attacks for Spyro. Again Sparx taking hits is random however Players can up the chances of Sparxs taking DMG by using Spyro's third taunt- that taunt even has a chance of healing Sparx by one DMG level.
